District Asbestos Abatement Project - Mel McKern RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Directors awards the bid to Advanced Environmental of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of $61,584.00 for the removal of asbestos material located at the former Hoover Middle School, and $61,069.00 for the removal of asbestos material located at Washington Elementary School. Also, to award the bid to Advanced Environmental for the removal of asbestos material from the six District-owned dwellings on Glenn Avenue based on the bid square footage cost.
