A.Perpetual Underground Electrical Easement with MidAmerican Energy Company - East High School Baseball Lights – Brian Fahrendholz

Notice was provided that a hearing would be held on the 26th day of August, 2019, at 6:00 p.m., local time, at the Educational Service Center, 627 4th Street, Sioux City, Iowa, to receive public input on a perpetual underground electrical easement with MidAmerican Energy Company for $1.00 at East High School for construction, operation, and maintenance of an underground electrical service for East High School Baseball Lights.  

 

Any interested party may appear and file objections and any information for or against same will be heard on the above-named easement with the final decision of the Board of Education a matter of record.

 

RECOMMENDATION:  That the Board of Directors approves a perpetual underground electrical easement with MidAmerican Energy Company for $1.00 at East High School for construction, operation, and maintenance of an underground electrical service for East High School Baseball Lights.


B.Perpetual Underground Electrical Easement with MidAmerican Energy Company – North High School Baseball Lights – Brian Fahrendholz

Notice was provided that a hearing would be held on the 26th day of August, 2019, at 6:00 p.m., local time, at the Educational Service Center, 627 4th Street, Sioux City, Iowa, to receive public input on a perpetual underground electrical easement with MidAmerican Energy Company for $1.00 at North High School for construction, operation, and maintenance of an underground electrical service for North High School Baseball Lights.  

 

Any interested party may appear and file objections and any information for or against same will be heard on the above-named easement with the final decision of the Board of Education a matter of record.


RECOMMENDATION:  That the Board of Directors approves a perpetual underground electrical easement with MidAmerican Energy Company for $1.00 at North High School for construction, operation, and maintenance of an underground electrical service for North High School Baseball Lights.


C.Perpetual Underground Electrical Easement with MidAmerican Energy Company – Riverside Elementary School – Brian Fahrendholz

Notice was provided that a hearing would be held on the 26th day of August, 2019, at 6:00 p.m., local time, at the Educational Service Center, 627 4th Street, Sioux City, Iowa, to receive public input on a perpetual underground electrical easement with MidAmerican Energy Company for $1.00 at Riverside Elementary School for construction, operation, and maintenance of an underground electrical service for Riverside Elementary School.  

 

Any interested party may appear and file objections and any information for or against same will be heard on the above-named easement with the final decision of the Board of Education a matter of record.


RECOMMENDATION:  That the Board of Directors approves a perpetual underground electrical easement with MidAmerican Energy Company for $1.00 at Riverside Elementary School for construction, operation, and maintenance of an underground electrical service for Riverside Elementary School.


D.Perpetual Underground Electrical Easement with MidAmerican Energy Company – Sunnyside Elementary School – Brian Fahrendholz

Notice was provided that a hearing would be held on the 26th day of August, 2019, at 6:00 p.m., local time, at the Educational Service Center, 627 4th Street, Sioux City, Iowa, to receive public input on a perpetual underground electrical easement with MidAmerican Energy Company for $1.00 at Sunnyside Elementary School for construction, operation, and maintenance of an underground electrical service for Sunnyside Elementary School.  

 

Any interested party may appear and file objections and any information for or against same will be heard on the above-named easement with the final decision of the Board of Education a matter of record.


RECOMMENDATION:  That the Board of Directors approves a perpetual underground electrical easement with MidAmerican Energy Company for $1.00 at Sunnyside Elementary School for construction, operation, and maintenance of an underground electrical service for Sunnyside Elementary School.


E.Permanent Water Line Loop Easement with the City of Sioux City - Unity Elementary School – Brian Fahrendholz

Notice was provided that a hearing would be held on the 26th day of August, 2019, at 6:00 p.m., local time, at the Educational Service Center, 627 4th Street, Sioux City, Iowa, to receive public input on a permanent water line loop easement with the City of Sioux City for $1.00 at Unity Elementary School for construction, operation, and maintenance of a water line loop that also provides water service to Unity Elementary School.  

 

Any interested party may appear and file objections and any information for or against same will be heard on the above-named easement with the final decision of the Board of Education a matter of record.


RECOMMENDATION:  That the Board of Directors approves a permanent water line loop easement with the City of Sioux City for $1.00 at Unity Elementary School for construction, operation, and maintenance of a water line loop that also provides water service to Unity Elementary School.

RECOMMENDATION:  That the Board of Directors acknowledges the information contained in the Superintendent’s Student of the District presentations.


B.Hail Damaged Metal Roofing Replacement Project – Brian Fahrendholz

RECOMMENDATION:  That the Board of Directors approves the proposed plans, specifications, and estimated cost of $154,300 for the Hail Damaged Metal Roofing Replacement Project, set a public hearing date, and publish notice as required by law.

 

A public hearing will be held at 6:00 p.m., local time, at the Educational Service Center, 627 4th Street, Sioux City, Iowa, on the 9th day of September, 2019.  Plans and specifications may be reviewed at the Purchasing Manager’s office located at the same address.
