A.Riverside HVAC and Electrical Retrofit Project Phase 2 – Brian Fahrendholz

RECOMMENDATION:  That the Board of Directors approves the proposed plans, specifications, and estimated cost of $2,680,700.00, for the Riverside HVAC and Electrical Retrofit Project Phase 2, set a public hearing date, and publish notice as required by law.

 

A public hearing will be held at 6:00 p.m., local time, at the Educational Service Center, 627 4th Street, Sioux City, Iowa, on the 13th day of January 2020.  Plans and specifications may be reviewed in the Purchasing Manager’s office located at the same address.

B.Sioux City Community Schools Educational Planning Handbook – Jim Vanderloo

RECOMMENDATION:  That the Board of Directors acknowledges the Sioux City Community Schools Educational Planning Handbook which includes implementation of new courses and expansion of current career pathways to be established at all high schools. 

C.Second and Final Reading of Board Policies – Dr. Paul Gausman

RECOMMENDATION:  That the Board of Directors approves the above Board policies for second and final reading. 

D.Review of Budget Calendar and Budget Guiding Principles – Board President

RECOMMENDATION:  That the Board of Directors review and discuss the Board approved Budget Calendar and Guiding Principles with the new Board.
