Notice was provided that a hearing would be held at 6:00 p.m., local time, at the Educational Service Center, 627 4th Street, Sioux City, Iowa, on the 13th day of January 2020, to receive public input on the proposed plans, specifications, and estimated cost of $2,680,700.00, for the Riverside HVAC and Electrical Retrofit Project Phase 2. 

 

Any interested party may appear and file objections and any information for or against same will be heard on the above-named project with the final decision of the Board of Education a matter of record.

RECOMMENDATION:  That the Board of Directors approves the proposed plans, specifications, and estimated cost of $2,680,700.00, for the Riverside HVAC and Electrical Retrofit Project Phase 2.

A.Hail Damaged Roof Top Mechanical Equipment Repair and Replacement Project – Brian Fahrendholz

RECOMMENDATION:  That the Board of Directors accepts the combined low bid from Pinnacle Heating and Cooling of Sioux City, Iowa, for East and West High Schools, East and West Middle Schools, Morningside, Nodland and Spalding Park Elementary Schools Hail Damaged Roof Top Mechanical Equipment Repair and Replacement Project for a total bid amount of $432,100.00. 


B.Appointment of Board Member to Woodbury County Conference Board – President Saint

RECOMMENDATION:  That the Board of Directors appoints a Board member to serve on the Woodbury Conference Board until the next Annual meeting of the Board of Directors, and add an agenda item to the Board’s Annual Meeting agenda.
