RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Directors go into a closed session to conduct a strategy meeting of a public employer concerning employees’ collective bargaining as provided in Section 20.17 (3) of the Iowa Code. The District’s legal counsel present for this session, either in person or by electronic means, is Jim Hanks of Ahlers & Cooney, P.C. B. RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Directors go into a closed session to discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation or where litigation is imminent where its disclosure would be likely to prejudice or disadvantage the position of the governmental body in that litigation as provided in Section 21.5(1)(c) of the Iowa Code. The District’s legal counsel present for this session, either in person or by electronic means, is Doug L. Phillips of Klass Law Firm, L.L.P. C. RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Directors go into a closed session to evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment, hiring, performance or discharge is being considered when necessary to prevent needless and irreparable injury to that individual’s reputation and that individual requests a closed session as provided in Section 21.5(1)(i) of the Iowa Code. Discussion of strategy relating to employment conditions of an employee not covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Exempt as provided by Iowa Code Section 21.9. V.
